I have been a professional ski teacher since 1987 and have worked in many ski areas around the world. I hold the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) level 4 ISTD qualification.
I am now based in the small ski station of Ste. Foy in the Tarantaise valley of the French Alps. It is fantastic resort in its own right but is also superbly placed to allow easy access to the nearby more well know ski areas of Tignes, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs, Le Plagne and La Rosiere/La Thuile.
I am an independent ski instructor and after 20 seasons skiing and teaching in resorts around the world I am excited to be based here in what I regard as one of the top ski areas anywhere.

The opportunities for both on and off piste skiing are pretty much endless and regardless of the conditions we can find good places to ski.
Skiing is not rocket science and as with anything practice makes perfect. My job is to ensure that what you’re practicing is as perfect as possible! Modern ski gear has made more of the mountain accessible to all and if you use that equipment effectively you will be surprised what it will allow you to do.
BUT most of all it MUST be fun. After all we are only sliding down a mountain!! So come with me and we will find some great places to ski and let me help you ski them better.
I am available to ski in any of the local resorts (for all day bookings) and in Ste Foy for half day (4hr am or 2.5hr pm) and all day (7 hrs). Please see times and prices below.
